Juanita Bumblebees win girls soccer championship

The Juanita Bumblebees, a U12 Girls soccer team in the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association, won their year-end tournament championship. The Juanita Bumblebees, a U-12 girls soccer team in the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association, won their year-end tournament championship with a 1-0 victory against another Kirkland team, the Juanita Rebels, Nov. 8 at Marymoor Park.

Northwest University senior Taylor Young, of Bellevue, was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference's offensive player of the year Nov. 18 as announced by the league office.

Northwest University's sophomore libero, Leia Roy from Puyallup was named a first team All-Cascade Conference team member today by the CCC office. Dakota Adams, sophomore outside hitter from Yakima earned honorable mention honors for 2014.

The 2014 Cascade Collegiate Conference champion Northwest University Eagles landed seven players and their head coach on the All-Conference team announced Nov. 17 by the league office.

Northwest University beats Walla Walla | College women's basketball

Northwest University got scoring from 12 of their 14 players and they cruised past an outmanned Walla Walla University team this afternoon in the first annual Northwest/Evergreen Challenge. Walla Walla suited up six players having lost several recently to injury.
