Dak Shagren scored 19 points on 58-percent shooting as the Northwest University (NU) Eagles downed the Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) Lutes 65-56 in non-league play on the Names Family Court Tuesday night.It was NU's fourth game in five nights.

Seven players scored in double figures as Northwest University (NU) crushed Multnomah University 117-70 Monday in non-league play. The Eagles also hit 66 percent of their shots for the night hitting 50 of 76 shots.

Similarities don’t end with Division I basketball for Kirkland seniors Nunn and Shepard

Two girls from Kirkland have signed on to play Division I basketball. Sydney Shepard, a senior at Lake Washington High school, received a full ride scholarship, the first LWH girls basketball player to do so since around 2000, with the University of San Diego Torreros. Jaisa Nunn, a senior at Juanita High, has agreed to play for the University of New Mexico Lobos.

Eagles stop high scoring Bruins | College men's basketball

The Northwest University (NU) Eagles held George Fox to a season low as they defeated the Bruins 81-65 in non-league play tonight. GFU was averaging 104 points per game for their first three games of the season and shooting at a 50 percent clip. NU held the Bruins 35 points under their average and held GFU to 40 percent shooting from the field.

Northwest University held off an upset minded and hot shooting Walla Walla team with a narrow, 73-70 win in a non-conference contest this afternoon.
