Support Brad Larssen for Pos. 3

As a downtown resident of Kirkland, I support Brad Larssen for Pos. 3, Kirkland City Council because he wants to see growth in the city conform to our planning and zoning codes. As a certified planner, I support Larssen because he understands the challenges facing a multi-member deliberative group like the council where he will listen first and foremost to our citizen input and not to special interests. As a former Federal official appointed by President Clinton, I support Larssen because he has real-world experience in the political atmosphere that calls for elected officials to rise above party politics to govern fairly. He has a record of saving unemployment insurance from cuts in Olympia and working with regional state and local elected officials to find the funds for additional lanes on I-405. Those are real results to benefit Kirkland citizens. Larssen is a “good government” candidate, someone we can trust to stand up for core community values and not special interests. I urge my fellow Kirkland voters to support Brad Larssen, Position 3, Kirkland City Council to protect Kirkland’s future livability.
