Karen Tennyson is the best choice for Kirkland City Council position No. 5. She has a long history of being involved in city government and has a clear commitment to public service. She cares about the community and is willing to put in the hard work required to make it better. She understands that in order to get control of our city finances, we need to pay attention to the most current revenue forecasts and update our projections accordingly. It has been my experience that even when we do not see eye-to-eye on an issue, she is still willing to thoughtfully consider my point of view. She will balance the needs of business with the needs of the residents, representing her entire constituency. Smart growth is key to our future economic development and I think that we can feel confident that Karen Tennyson will provide the leadership to make that happen. Cast your vote by Aug. 18 for Karen.
