The joyful energy and pride in the Council chambers during the meeting on the Juanita Neighborhood Banner project April 21 was a wonderful example of how a community comes together. Creating the art with three different schools and the art work of so many children not only united three schools but also gave them a sense of neighborhood pride. The children were blessed to be able to partiticate in this project and I would like to thank Norm Storm and the Juanita Neighborhood Association for making this happen. Our children also learned that they can make the world a happier more joyful place by creating public art.
