Don’t feed the ducks

I noticed a photo (Feb. 25 issue) of Christel Kohler of Bothell and grandson, Christoph, feeding the ducks at Marina Park. Surely, you must be aware of the significant problem Kirkland and other lakeside communities have had for many years with waterfowl as a result of people feeding them. Please do not promote this illegal and destructive rehavior by publishing the activity as though it were endearing. It harms both the waterfowl and the community.
