Parkplace plan would ‘Supersize’ Kirkland
June 23, 2008 · Updated 2:06 PM
Dear Editor,
The oversized (Parkplace) plan is irresponsible. Much like fast-food term “Supersize,” it will bloat the city of Kirkland. The city will be come unrecognizable as the “quaint” waterside village that attracts those who live here.
Leave the Kirkland character alone -- people who want more retail, more office space, more cars and more people can move to Bellevue or Seattle. Leave Kirkland livable.
