Reporter should publish names in police blotter | Letter

I recently was in Bellingham. Their newspaper, the Bellingham Herald has a section entitled “Whatcom County Jail Report” in which they publish incidents and  names.

If they can do it, why not us?

It would foster greater recognition, responsibility, and accountability for the reasons listed. It would have even a greater affect if their addresses were also published.
