Disappointed at new Kirkland dog park rules | LETTER

Like many Kirkland residents, I was looking forward to taking my dogs to the new off-leash park in Kirkland.

My boys love to go to other off-leash parks in the area and enjoy interacting with other dogs.

Unfortunately, I recently learned that the Kirkland park will not allow unneutered male dogs regardless of their breed or temperament. I have never heard of such a restriction in a dog park and am disappointed that KDOG decided to go this route.

At least we can still go to Redmond.
