Is there a particular Kirkland dentist who really brought that sparkle to your teeth?

How about a favorite jewelry store that helped you find that flawless diamond ring for your fiance? Or an auto shop with just the right zip in customer service?

It’s time to honor that favorite person, place or thing in Kirkland.

The Reporter is sponsoring its first-ever Best of Kirkland 2010 Contest.

Complete an entry form online at www.kirklandreporter.com by clicking on the “Best of Kirkland” link, or mail/bring your completed entry (see page 10) to the Kirkland Reporter office: 720 Market St., Suite A, Kirkland, WA 98033.

Each entry must have at least 20 categories completed to be counted and entries must be received by 5 p.m. Monday, April 12 (see entry for more details).

Reader’s choice awards will be given to the “best of” in each category, including: Kirkland people, restaurants, businesses, kids activity, customer service, live entertainment and best place to take a date.

Participants will also be automatically eligible for the grand prize – a $275 gift card, courtesy of the Penterra Spa and Trellis Restaurant, located in the Heathman Hotel.

May the best person/place/thing win!
