Jean Lamont

Jean was born in the Walla Walla area November 9, 1923 into the Kreider Family. She had 13 brothers and sisters she later attended Redmond High School where she met her High School sweetheart and future husband Pros Lamont. After graduating she worked at Washington Motor Coach Co. Jean and Pros made their home in Kirkland where they raised 2 daughters Debbie and Denise. Jean was happy to be a stay at home wife and mother, she enjoyed gardening, decorating, loved to go dancing, loved singing and playing her guitar and organ. After the devastating loss of her husband Pros, in 1993 Jean was able to keep her positive attitude and spirit, with the support of her family and friends. She recently had moved to Merrill Gardens of Kirkland, where she enjoyed meeting new people and was involved in all the fun activities there. The residents loved her constant smile and sparkle in her eyes. Jean was a woman with a great sense of humor and had an incredible zest for life. Jean believed that anything was possible regardless of the limitations and obstacles presented to her. She was not a quitter. We will miss her; she was loved by all who met her. She is survived by her two daughters and longtime friend and dance partner Paul Bark.Donations can be made to the National Stroke Association of America, 1-800-787-6537, www.stroke.org.
