Carol May Donovan, age 72, of Eden Prairie, MN, formerly of Kirkland, WA, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Castle Ridge Care Center, Eden Prairie.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, 12:00 Noon at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 West Third Street, Chaska, MN. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Carol was born December 9, 1943 in Renton, WA, to Harry and Helen (Riley) Rounds, one of three children. She graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle, WA, in 1962. She was also active in FBLA, Future Business Leaders of America. She was employed at Fred Meyers Store for 20 years. Carol raised her family in Washington and then moved to Minnesota in 1995. She enjoyed painting, bowling, square dancing and was a seamstress. After failing health she became a resident of Castle Ridge Care Center for the past 3 years.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Donovan of St. Paul, Patricia Kellner and Dave Kellner of Rochester, Theresa Donovan of Minneapolis, Mike (Kate) Donovan of Chaska, David Donovan (fiancée’, Sarah Simmons) of Jordan, Christina Donovan of Belle Plaine, Mary (Jon) Jones of Pine Island; grandchildren, Mary Jones, Dylan Kubec, Gage Donovan, Sophia Schandorf, Hailey Donovan, Mary-Margaret Donovan, Mikey Donovan; great grandchildren, Melvin, Lewis and Milo.

Funeral arrangements were with the Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chaska, MN.
