Unknown intruder turns out to be dog | Police Blotter

Police blotter for Sept. 26-30.

Sept. 26

Party: At 11:20 a.m. in the 13200 block of 135th Avenue Northeast, there was a disturbance in the building. It was ongoing for a while. The caller wasn’t sure if it was a party and people were drunk or if they were fighting. The caller thinks “because alcohol [is] involved it may turn into a fight.” There were six people.

Sept. 27

Ghosts get crafty: At 3:02 p.m. in the 12700 block of Northeast 116th Lane, a 67-year-old woman reported a strange drawing. There was no forced entry and nothing taken or rifled through. It was small, random and on her kitchen counter.

Sept. 28

Drugs: At 2:46 p.m. in the 12500 block of Northeast 144th Street, a man was in the bathroom of the Caribbean Casino. He allegedly used both heroin and methamphetamine before police contacted him. He was taken to the hospital.

Sept. 30

False alarm: At 3:55 p.m. in the 200 block of 7th Avenue, someone reported an unknown person being inside their home. They were going through their boxes. The woman was alone at home and probably armed herself with a gun. Kirkland police were later told to disregard the call. The unknown person turned out to be a dog sifting through the boxes.

Wire hanger thievery: At 4:37 p.m. in the 12000 block of Northeast 85th Street, a man attempted to steal from the U-Haul Rose Hill location. He was using wire hangers to hook keys from the drop box.
