Thursday, March 8

Sneaking around: It was reported at 1:27 a.m. that a 17-year-old girl tried to sneak her 20-year-old boyfriend into her fourth-story apartment window. He started to climb the gutter when it broke. The girl tied sheets and blankets together to attempt to help him the rest of the way up. One of the sheets or blankets broke and the girl tried to grab her boyfriend but they both fell from the window to the sidewalk below. Both were transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

Tuesday, March 6

DUI: A 49-year-old woman in the 12400 block of N.E. 85th St. was arrested at 2:31 a.m. for driving under the influence. She provided breath samples at Kirkland Jail. The suspect was processed and released. This was her first offense.

Saturday, March 3

Warrant arrest: At 1:24 a.m. officers met with Bellevue police, who had taken a 27-year-old man into custody. He was transported to Kirkland Jail without incident.

Racing: A 20-year-old man was arrested at 1:11 a.m. for racing on southbound Interstate 405 after being observed starting from a stop, along with four other vehicles blocking all lanes of travel, recklessly accelerating to speeds estimated to exceed 100 mph.

Warrant arrest: Police contacted nine individuals at 12:44 a.m. in the Motel 6 parking lot in the 12000 block of 120th Pl. N.E. One of the subjects, a 19-year-old man, had a misdemeanor warrant out of Bothell for driving under the influence and was arrested.

Friday, March 2

Domestic: Police reported to a call at 12:37 a.m. from the 11100 block of 123rd Ln. N.E. A 52-year-old woman stated that her boyfriend took her laptop and phone from her house and claimed that he is controlling and crazy. Police were not able to contact the boyfriend.

Thursday, March 1

Harassment: At 6:11 a.m., a woman was found writing in permanent marker on the wall next to the front door of a condo in the 12700 block of N.E. 120th St. There is no suspect information.

Burglary: At 5:44 a.m., police responded to a report that an unknown suspect entered a locked, detached garage in the 10900 block of N.E. 128th St. and took $3,015 in sports equipment. There are no suspects.

DUI: At 1:46 a.m., a 27-year-old man in the 12400 block of 116th Ave. N.E. was arrested and booked for driving under the influence. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and refused a preliminary breathe test. This was the suspect’s second DUI within 10 years.
