Man arrested with blood-alcohol level of 0.211 | Police blotter for June 8-10

Saturday, June 10

Traffic offenses: Police arrested a 30-year-old man at 5:24 p.m. after he was pulled over for a traffic stop in the 8400 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast. Police discovered he was driving with a suspended license and was violating an ignition interlock order.

Warrant arrest: At 9:36 a.m., a 27-year-old man was contacted by police while sleeping in an alley. He was arrested on a municipal warrant out of Seattle.

Friday, June 9

Warrant arrest: A 31-year-old woman was arrested for a warrant out of Bothell of driving with a suspended license after police contacted her at 3:35 a.m. in the 11600 block of 124th Avenue Northeast. Bothell police confirmed the warrant and picked her up at the Brickyard Park and Ride.

Thursday, June 8

Trespass: At 9:49 p.m., a 48-year-old woman was arrested for trespassing at EvergreenHealth after she refused to leave after being treated. She was booked and released from the Kirkland Jail. The mobile crisis team was called to pick her up after she was seen walking down the middle of the street and said she didn’t have anywhere to go.

DUI: A 59 year-old-man was arrested at 8:26 p.m. in the 7300 block of 131st Avenue Northeast after he was observed going 74 mph on his motorcycle in a 30 mph zone. The motorcyclist attempted to lose police but drove onto a dead-end street. After pulling over, he yelled to the officer, “I was trying to lose you, but you got me.” The man smelled of intoxicants and provide two breath samples of 0.145 and 0.138. He was transported to his residence in Bellevue due to medical issues and his motorcycle was impounded.

Domestic violence: A 39-year-old woman was arrested for assault at 12:42 p.m. after getting into a verbal altercation with her boyfriend. It turned physical and she bit her boyfriend.

Possession: A 29-year-old man was brought into the Kirkland Jail at 10:13 a.m. When he was searched, the man stated he might have something on him. Police discovered 14 pills duct taped to his inner thigh.

DUI: A 30-year-old man was arrested at 2:31 a.m. for driving under the influence after being involved in a single-vehicle traffic accident in the 11900 block of Northeast 124th Street. He admitted to drinking alcohol prior to driving and performed poorly on field tests. He had a blood-alcohol level of 0.204 and 0.211.
