Man arrested for doing meth in Totem Lake Malls parking lot

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Kirkland Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. From April 13-19, there were 747 total incidents, including 127 traffic incidents, 16 traffic accidents, two DUIs, 32 general traffic incidents, two incidents involving illegal drugs, 38 alarm calls, three abandoned vehicles, four burglaries, four incidents of fraud, 16 civil incidents, nine cases of harassment, 23 thefts, eight vehicle prowls, four vehicle thefts, two warrants served, 10 noise complaints, seven animal calls, 11 incidents of domestic violence, no fireworks complaints, 14 disturbances, one sex offense, one hit and run and 16 incidents involving at least one arrest.

April 13

Theft: 5:25 p.m., 12000 block of 120th Pl. NE. A 27-year-old Kenmore man was arrested for shoplifting headphones from the OfficeMax. The man was also found to have an outstanding DUI warrant out of Bothell.

April 15

Domestic: 1:30 a.m., 12300 block of NE 115th Pl. A 54-year-old Kirkland woman was arrested after assaulting her daughter, causing injuries to her face.

Assault: 8:30 a.m., 12500 block of NE 85th St. A 20-year-old Woodnivlle man was arrested for domestic violence after he assaulted another man over their living situation and narcotics use.

April 16

Illegal drugs: 7:33 p.m., 12600 block of Totem Lake Blvd. NE. A 28-year-old Kirkland man was contacted by police at the Auto Zone in Totem Lake after he was reportedly using drugs in the parking lot. The man has $31,000 worth of warrants out of Lynnwood. A meth pipe was located in the man’s jacket upon search and he was arrested.

April 17

Illegal drugs: 1:40 p.m., 13000 block of 116th Way NE. A 28-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were contacted at the Kingsgate Park and Ride and arrested on warrants out of Bothell and Woodinville. Upon a search, both were found to have drug paraphernalia and stolen checks.

April 18

Warrant: 6:56 p.m., 10200 block of NE 140th Pl. A 21-year-old Seattle man was arrested on his $50,000 felony burglary warrant after he was contacted as an unwanted person.

April 19

Theft: 8:56 a.m., 12800 block of 134th Ave. NE. A person reported to police that someone charged $1,983.29 to their Bank of China Visa card.

April 21

Assault: 12:30 p.m., 10200 block of NE 132nd St. A patient at Fairfax in Kirkland wanted to report that they were assaulted by another patient. Nurses said that they did not see any physical contact between to two people.
