Kirkland hosts Gelato Social to appreciate volunteers

The City of Kirkland recognized City volunteers who contributed 10 or more hours in the past 12 months with a Volunteer Appreciation Gelato Social the evening of August 29. Visit the City’s Facebook photo album for more photos of the event.

More than 50 volunteers and their families enjoyed a delicious scoop of gelato, donated by Sirena Gelato, and chatted with other volunteers, City staff and Deputy Mayor Jay Arnold. To date (January through August 2017), 3,364 volunteers have contributed more than 20,000 hours with the City of Kirkland.
