The City of Kirkland closed the westbound lane of Northeast 85th Street between 114th Avenue Northeast and Sixth Street to repair and repave damaged pavement starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The road will remain closed until 6 p.m. Work crews will close the road segment again from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

“Drivers should expect delays as work crews take advantage of the summer’s dry weather to improve street conditions,” according to a city release.
