Woman struck in crosswalk

A 56-year-old woman was struck by a car while in a crosswalk Wednesday night and was sent to Evergreen Hospital. Police were called to the accident scene near the intersection of 100th Ave. N.E. and N.E. 120th Place at 5:18 p.m.

The woman sustained a head laceration and a possible fracture in her shoulder.

A 50-year-old man was issued a citation for not yielding to the pedestrian in the cross walk.
