Lakeview members needed for advisory group

Residents and business owners/managers of the Lakeview neighborhood have a unique opportunity to help shape the future of their neighborhood. Lakeview members are needed for the advisory group, which will involve other neighborhood members to update the Lakeview Neighborhood Plan. The plan is a part of the City of Kirkland's Comprehensive Plan.

The plan update will reflect changes in the area since 1985 and establish the vision, goals and policies for future growth of the neighborhood for the next 10-20 years. The advisory group will likely meet once a month for the next four-five months and work in cooperation with city staff and the Houghton Community Council.

Persons interested in joining the advisory group should send an email or letter by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, stating his or her interest to serve and including contact information. Letters of interest should be emailed to jsoloff@ci.kirkland.wa.us or mailed to Janice Soloff, Senior Planner, City of Kirkland Planning and Community Development Department, 123 Fifth Avenue, Kirkland, WA 98033.
