The Lake Washington girls soccer team played Redmond to a 1-1 tie Tuesday at Redmond High School.

Redmond got on the board early, scoring the first goal of the game during the 13th minute. But Lake Washington's Lacy Newbold took a pass from teammate Shelby Bergren during the 25th minute and put the ball into the back of the Mustangs' net.

The Kangs are now 1-4-2 in league play and 1-7-3 overall.
