Kirkland Police arrested a male suspect Wednesday just minutes after he robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located on 132nd Avenue in the Bridle Trails neighborhood.

The suspect entered the bank wearing a mask and jumped over the counter before fleeing the bank with cash. Witness descriptions allowed Kirkland and Bellevue Police to track the suspect north of the bank where he was taken into custody without further incident. Evidence and cash involved in the robbery were located a short distance away. No one was injured in the event and charges are pending.
