The weekly Kirkland Police blotter is represented on an interactive map below. Instead of a listing the selection of calls separately, this feature allows the information relating to the call to be placed on the map itself.
The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Kirkland Police department that are dispatched to on-duty police officer. The Kirkland Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kirkland, which average about 800 per week.
Between April 29 and May 5, the Kirkland Police department reported 365 traffic violations (four DUI), six alarm calls, 17 car accidents, six noise violations, 21 thefts, seven acts of fraud, nine burglaries and six vehicle prowls. At least 37 people were arrested.
