Kirkland Police Blotter April 22-28
May 8, 2009 · Updated 5:33 PM
The weekly Kirkland Police blotter is represented on an interactive map below. Instead of a listing the selection of calls separately, this feature allows the information relating to the call to be placed on the map itself.
The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Kirkland Police department that are dispatched to on-duty police officer. The Kirkland Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kirkland, which average about 800 per week.
Between April 22-28, the Kirkland Police Department reported 340 traffic violations (eight DUIs), 31 alarm calls, 21 car accidents, 21 noise violations, 14 thefts, 11 acts of fraud and 10 vehicle prowls. At least 33 people were arrested.
