At its last meeting, the Kirkland City Council approved pursuing annexation of the Potential Annexation Areas (PAAs) of Finn Hill, Juanita and Kingsgate. So what can area residents expect in the future? This will be the topic of the Denny Creek Neighborhood Alliance general meeting from 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the Finn Hill Junior High, 8040 NE 132nd St.

Marilyn Beard, assistant city manger for Kirkland, will explain the process and answer questions during the meeting.

The event will also provide updates of past and future projects to restore shoreline and creek habitats in the Denny Creek Watershed. And DCNA will unveil a new community Web site for Finn Hill residents. It will be a place to post and share information on Finn Hill, from best trails and garage sales, to restoration projects and crime problems. For information, call 206-353-1254, or visit www.DennyCreek.org.
