Police Blotter March 11-17
The weekly Kirkland Police blotter is represented on an interactive map below. Instead of a listing the selection of calls separately, this feature allows the information relating to the call to be placed on the map itself.
The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Kirkland Police department that are dispatched to on-duty police officer. The Kirkland Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kirkland, which average about 1,500 per week.
Between March 11-17, the Kirkland Police Department reported 332 traffic violations (12 DUIs), 29 alarm calls, 25 car accidents, 18 thefts, 16 assaults, 11 vehicle prowls and 10 acts of vandalism. At least 52 people were arrested.
