Additional parking stalls and increased hours for free public parking are now available at the Lake Street/Central Avenue and Marina Park/Lakeshore lots in downtown Kirkland, effective as of March 16.

Three hours of free parking is available Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at both lots. From 5-9 p.m., the hourly rate is $1. Parking is free on Sundays and holidays.

New pay stations are also available at both lots and accept coins (no bills) and debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). During the first few weeks following the changes, City staff and Parking Advisory Board members will be at the lots in the evenings to assist customers with the new rates and pay stations.
