In the Dec. 2 article, “Young artist doesn’t let physical challenges get in his way,” the writer stated that most children diagnosed with muscular dystrophy don’t live past their early teens. The average life span for the type of disease in the article is the late teens to early 20s.
In the Dec. 2 article, “Oh Christmas tree,” the reporter refers to a Kirkland resident as “Heidi” Tucker. Her name is Patty Tucker.
In the Dec. 11 article, “40,000 lights and a little labor of love,” the reporter refers to the dog breed as “peppered” Welsh Corgis. The breed is “Pembroke.”
