Kirkland treasurer receives award

City of Kirkland Treasury Manager Michael Olson has received the prestigious “Professional Finance Officer” award for 2008.

The annual award given by the Washington Finance Officer’s Association recognizes achievements of professional service and ongoing continuing education and training on the part of each individual and is not automatically awarded.

The Washington Finance Officer’s Association is a professional association of finance officers from towns, cities, counties, the state, and other governmental units within the state of Washington. For information, visit www.wfoa.org.
