Goodman named Safety Champion

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has named Rep. Roger Goodman, D-45th District, a Safety Champion.

The honor comes in recognition of Goodman’s work passing the ignition interlock driver license bill this year in the Legislature.

The NHTSC hopes that the state law will be adopted by other states as model legislation.

A plaque will be presented to Goodman at a later date.
