About 115 Comcast employees, family and friends volunteered at Juanita High School on Saturday joined by many students and staff as part of the 13th annual Comcast Cares Day.

Statewide, 2,300 people donated time at a dozen locations around Washington, and 80,000 people volunteered time around the globe.

Employees trimmed branches and raked and hauled 10 truckloads of debris at the high school in Kirkland.

The group spread 17 yards of bark in parking lot medians and flower beds, as part of landscaping that of course included weeding and planting flowers.
