The city of Kirkland is has announced that its GIS mapping portal is now available to the public. The system allows easier access to property, zoning and utility information for developers building in the city.

The interactive maps can be found at maps.kirklandwa.gov. Data layers include topographical contours, base map, zoning and land use, development permits, and environmentally sensitive areas. Users can create a property report, apply for permits through MyBuildingPermit.com, pay city utility bills and print out maps.

The site is not suitable for mobile devices at this time but the mobile application is being developed. For questions about Kirkland Maps, contact Xiaoning Jiang, GIS Administrator at (425) 587-3070 or xjiang@kirklandwa.gov.
