State patrol targeting local seat-belt offenders

The Washington State Patrol plans to specifically target Kirkland drivers not abiding by the state’s seat-belt laws today through May 29.

The WSP will put extra officers on patrol of the northbound 85th Street exit of Interstate-405 as part of its “Click it or Ticket” night time seat belt patrol program, which started yesterday and continues tonight, May 27 and 29.
