Expect traffic delays during Kirkland Uncorked

Commuters should expect traffic delays due to Kirkland Uncorked to be held Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17, at Marina Park.

Event goers are encouraged to plan for their parking in advance. For public parking, including the Kirkland Municipal Garage, go to www.kirklandwa.gov/parking.

The Marina parking lot, including Lakeshore Plaza Drive from Central Way to Kirkland Avenue, will be closed on Friday at approximately 5-11 a.m. and again on Sunday from 6-10 p.m. Kirkland Avenue from Lakeshore Plaza Drive to Lake Street will be closed on Friday from 5 a.m., until approximately 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The city’s boat launch will remain open all weekend, however boaters should expect delays. More than 40,000 attendees are expected during the three-day event. For event information, go to www.KirklandUncorked.com.
