Nightly closures on SR 520 bridge this week as crews test toll equipment

Nighttime drivers planning to use State Route 520 should be prepared to take alternate routes across and around Lake Washington Tuesday, May 3 through Thursday, May 5. Crews working for WSDOT will close the SR 520 bridge in one direction each night as they test toll equipment.

Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday, May 4

Crews will close all lanes of westbound SR 520 between 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill and Montlake Boulevard in Seattle from 11:59 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following morning.

Thursday, May 5

Crews will close all lanes of eastbound SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill on from 11:59 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following morning.

During these closures, crews will test and adjust equipment in preparation for tolling of the SR 520 bridge.
