Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will repair pavement on the southbound I-405 overpass over N.E. 116th Street tonight.

Drivers should expect delays if they plan to travel on southbound I-405 in Kirkland late tonight and early tomorrow morning. To safely complete the work, crews will close the N.E. 124th street on-ramp to southbound I-405 and two southbound lanes. Crews will begin closing the lanes and ramp at 8 p.m. and re-open them at 5 a.m. in time for the morning commute.

The weather dependent repair work is necessary to repair the concrete overpass surface.
