Kirkland Wednesday Market opens at Marina Park May 5

Join the Kirkland Wednesday Market for an opening ceremony at 2 p.m. May 5 at Marina Park.

The Lake Washington High school Choir, Lyrica will open the ceremonies with the National Anthem. Next up, a couple of songs from the children from Bright Horizons Day Care. Jodi Bardinelli's daughters will cut the opening ribbon in honor of Jodi, and Kirkland Major Joan McBride will ring the market opening bell.

The market, which is is open from 2-7 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 13, will feature new vendors, weekly community events, chef demos and the Third Annual Harvest Supper and Grapestomp on Sept. 15.

The Kirkland Wednesday Market also welcomes new Board President Stefeny Anderson, who is currently also the Renton Farmer's Market Manager. For more information, visit www.kirklandwednesdaymarket.org.
