Kirklanders take the plunge New Year's Day

After the City of Kirkland axed funding for its annual Polar Plunge event, nearly 50 people still showed up on New Year's Day to plunge into the 45 degree water of Lake Washington at Marina Park. The event was organized by Kirkland Weblog administrator Janis Rabuchin.
