The Chinese Information and Service Center is holding a Long-term Care Resource Fair from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at the Crossroads Community Center in Bellevue.

The purpose of the fair is to provide family caregivers a better understanding on what long-term care is, information on what to look for in a long-term care plan, and what kind of long-term care insurance plans may match their needs. The event will also provide family caregivers with the opportunity to talk to long-term care insurance professionals and to different long-term care providers.

A number of workshops will be held:

“Long-term Care Insurance Plan Overview” conducted by SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors), from 12:45-1:30 p.m. Chinese; 2:15-3:30 p.m. English.

“Long-term Care Options” conducted by a case manager for the Department of Aging and Disability, City of Seattle, 12:45-1:30 p.m. English; 2:15-3:30 p.m. Chinese.

Crossroads Community Center is located at 16000 N.E. 10th St., in Bellevue.
