Class of 2009: Juanita High School graduates shine bright

Juanita High School graduated 287 students on June 12 at the Juanita Field House.

Speakers chosen by the faculty and senior class included addresses by Olivia Ware, Morris Linnet, Laura Hansen and Ben Hullinger.

The Juanita High School Symphonic Band, directed by Mariko Lane, performed "Pomp and Circumstance," by Edward Elgar, and the Juanita High School Concert Choir sang "Love Psalm," by Darmon Meader and directed by Lehua Pischke.

Principal Gary Moed gave a presentation to the Class of 2009 and Juanita staff presented the diplomas.
