Peterson named new music director for Kirkland Congregational Church

Kirkland Congregational Church has announced that James (Jim) Peterson has assumed the role of music director at the church.

“We are honored and excited that Jim is bringing his musical talents and background to the congregation,” said pastor Ryan Lambert in a church press release. “Jim has founded and led a number of prize-winning musical organizations and groups, including serving as director of musical ensembles (choirs and orchestras) at Lake Washington High School in Kirkland and director of the Kirkland Academy. In addition, he is a skilled pianist and singer.”

Founded in 1880 and located at 106 5th Ave., Kirkland Congregational Church is one of the oldest church congregations in Kirkland and early clergy and staff included many Kirkland pioneers. For more information, visit www.kccucc.org.
