LWHS dance team to hold fundraising event tonight

Lake Washington High School Dance is supporting The Andréa Rizzo Foundation’s nationwide fundraising effort with Drea’s Dream: Friday Night Lights.

Drea’s Dream will be tonight on the LWHS football field, 12033 N.E. 80th St.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and dance performances will begin at 7 p.m.

The event will showcase a wide variety of dance styles throughout the night. There will also be food trucks, face painting, balloons and more.

A $5 minimum donation will be required for admission, with proceeds benefiting Dance Across America.

Dance Across America is one of many fundraising efforts created by The Andréa Rizzo Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing dance therapy to children with cancer and special needs in pediatric hospitals.
