Kirkland Senior Council to host tax relief forum

The forum will take place on March 13.

The Kirkland Senior Council, in conjunction with the City of Kirkland, is sponsoring a free public forum called Property Tax Relief for Seniors on Tuesday, March 13 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The forum will feature King County Assessor John Wilson and Elena G. Huizar from the Washington State Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Branch. They will present on property exemptions for low income seniors as well as ways to recognize consumer fraud.

Additionally, there will be a question and answer portion of the program. Members of the Kirkland City Council will also be in attendance.
