The Kirkland Library will be a featured stop on the Kirkland Art Walk on Dec. 9.

The library will host a special reception at 5 p.m. for many of the artists whose art pieces are installed in libraries throughout the King County Library System and include in the book, Art in Libraries.

Library services, including check-out, computer access and information assistance, will conclude at the regular 6 p.m. closing time, but the library building will remain open an extra two hours so people may view some of the art it contains and the artists who created it.

Music will be provided by Arcobaleno Strings.
