Kirkland Choral Society presents ‘Love Notes’ on Feb. 17 at performance center

The event will feature romantic offerings from many different cultures and musical genres.

The Kirkland Choral Society will present “Love Notes” at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Kirkland Performance Center.

The event will feature romantic offerings from many different cultures and musical genres, with pieces from Queen, Brahms, Bizet, Bernstein and the Beatles. KCS will also perform Japanese love songs, which were arranged by one of the choir’s own. For the last two pieces of the concert, the choir will be joined by a band.

KCS artistic director Dr. Glenn R. Gregg will be conducting the event.

The event will also include paired tastings of wine and chocolate at intermission.

Kirkland’s home choir performances feature solo work, quartets, small ensembles as well as the full 100-voice choir.

KPC is located at 350 Kirkland Ave. in Kirkland.
