Join the International Ballet Theatre for a "Don Quixote" performance from March 12-14 at Bellevue's Meydenbauer Theatre. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. March 12; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. March 13; and 2 p.m. March 14.

Bravado! Heroism! Romance! Illusion! These qualities suffuse the fanciful tale of "Don Quixote" – a brave Spanish Conquistador obsessed with medieval chivalry imagines himself to be a knight errant. Along with his faithful servant, Sancho Panza, Don Q searches for his mythical love, Lady Dulcinea. Marius Petipa choreographed this unusual ballet at the height of his career, and it premiered at the Bolshoi theatre in 1869. IBT honors the ballet in its traditional style. Vibrant costumes, and fiery Spanish flavor transform this implausible story into a richly entertaining and unforgettable experience. Featuring guest artists Mara Vinson, Pacific Northwest Ballet Principal and Le Yin, former PNB Principal.
