The Kirkland Youth Council teamed up with the Kirkland Teen Union Building Saturday to host the eighth annual Blue Fish Festival at Peter Kirk Park.

The festival offers a venue for young artists like singer Rachel Wiegand, to perform and grow as artists. Since her initial appearance at the festival, Wiegand said she's been playing at coffee houses throughout the Puget Sound and selling her CDs
