Knute Berger will discuss his newest title, “Pugetopolis: A Mossback Takes on Growth Addicts, Weather Wimps and the Myth of the Seattle Nice” at 7 p.m. March 10 at Parkplace Books. A Seattle native and PacNW icon, former editor of Seattle Weekly, regular news commentator on public radio station KUOW, and monthly contributor to Seattle Magazine, Knute Berger also writes the Mossback column for Crosscut.com, a PacNW online daily. Pugetopolis is both a reflective and funny look at what’s authentic and what’s fake about the greater Puget Sound region written by a lifelong insider. For information, call 425-828-6546.
