The public is invited to shop for unique art gifts during the Kirkland Art Center’s Holiday Arts Sale. The sale, which runs through Dec. 21, features art work from more than 120 artists.

Shop through unique salt and pepper shakers, lamps and jewelry, such as artist Charles Kent Wiggins’ hand forged sterling silver earrings ($98). Other unique items include a Jimi Hendrix plate ($325) and Dizzy Gillespie plate ($250), both by artist Ken Turner, and slug pubs ($35) that “sidetrack garden slugs permanently,” by Elaine Moore.

The annual event supports local artists and helps Kirkland Arts Center continue its commitment to the creative community.

The Kirkland Arts Center is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. On Thursday, Dec. 11, the center will be open until 8 p.m.

Also, enjoy a free art event from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13. Make gift cards and artful wrapping paper in this fun, drop-in event for all ages led by KAC staff and volunteers. All you need to bring is your imagination.
