The PupScrub in Juanita Village got some Hollywood action as an Animal Planet film crew shot film on Oct. 29 for a series called "Beauty and the Beast."
Actor Bob Sapp - a former University of Washington football player who also co-starred with Adam Sandler in the movie "The Longest Yard" - washed a small dog during the three-hour shooting.
The series could air on Animal Planet, pending producer approval, says David MacBrayne, owner of PubScrub, located at Juanita Village 9718 N.E. 119th Way in Kirkland.
