Nearly 16,000 car enthusiasts came to downtown Kirkland last Sunday to enjoy the 7th Annual Kirkland Classic Car Show, which hosted more than 500 classic hot rods, custom automobiles, muscle cars, trucks and motorcycles.

According to volunteer Terri Fletcher, event co-chair, this year marked the most successful show in seven years.

The event was presented by Legends Car Club and sponsors included Merrill Gardens of Kirkland.
